It’s always - fantastic here- whenever I am in Dallas I make my way to Benihanas for a fabulous meal. No one prepares the ginger sauce the way they do and their chefs are master chefs. Thank you for providing an excellent meal for so many.

This was our first time visiting Benihana was it was utterly disappointing. For a restaurant that is very expensive, it is not at all worth it. The food was bland and super salty. The amount of butter used to prepare the food is unnecessary and absurd. Compared to other Hibachi type restaurants it is below standard. I appreciate the cost of everything has increased but for vegetables they only provide a piece of zucchini, onions and mushroom. The chicken was extremely over cooked, dry and no seasoning. The service was poor and very slow. Our server tried his best but he brought the wrong drinks, and our bill was wrong. He had to reprint the bill 3 times before it was correct. The chef was very unimpressive. Did not engage with the guests and also got an order wrong. Although we corrected him at the beginning when he was reconfirming our order he still got it wrong. When we told him no we didn’t order that and told you that in the beginning he replied no you didn’t. lol. I want to reiterate considering how expensive it is your service and food quality should be top notch. It was terrible. To charge $7 to upgrade your plain rice to fried rice is bananas. To charge $2 for teriyaki

Went to take advantage of the power lunch and ended up being a disappointing experience. We sat in the bar area and the table was sticky and dirty, the booth was greasy and dirty. Everything just nasty. I ordered the New York strip option and went to bite into a piece of steak and there was metal in it. The manager ended up replacing my food.. which I took to go because I had to be back to work. The steak ended up being raw in the middle after I requested medium. I won't be eating here again..

Edit: My husband convinced us to try here again since we had some points. We went a little bit after lunch time so it wasn't that busy and got seated right away. We absolutely loved our server Anna and our Chef. The food was cooked to perfection and the show was amazing as well. I'm so disappointed. They have no control of people who were waiting for a table. Kids running around everywhere. People waiting all by the tables without the show while we were trying to eat. We paid over $240 for our meals and our rice was too over cooked...our chicken was really dry and over cooked... we ordered our steak medium well and it was over done to the point we couldn't chew it. The sever was very nice! That was the best thing about it. To pay $61 for the trio with the amount of food we got is diabolical! I'm so upset! Especially the quality of the food.

From the moment he started cooking, he kept everyone engaged with his skills, professionalism, and great sense of humor. The food was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. This visit was especially meaningful because it was a team gathering for Golden Oasis, and everything—from the atmosphere to the service—made it the perfect place to share, connect, and enjoy quality time together as a team. Chef Luis made the experience fun, memorable, and unique for all of us. The entire Benihana staff was attentive and welcoming, and the restaurant maintained a great vibe throughout the evening. We truly appreciate the effort and passion that went into making our time there so special. Highly recommended for team events, celebrations, or anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.
